Privacy Policy

1. Data controller and scope

• Controller: Abaker d.o.o.
• This policy applies to the Abaker Android app and legal pages on abaker.app.

2. Data processed in the app

• Operational bakery data entered by users: recipes, ingredients, plans, starter records, inventory, and local settings.
• This data is stored locally on-device (SQLite) for core app usage.
• If a user contacts support, we process contact details and message content to respond and, where needed, meet legal obligations.

3. Data we do not collect by default

• We do not run advertising SDKs in the app.
• We do not run third-party analytics trackers in the app.
• We do not collect continuous background location, contacts, camera, or microphone data for core app functionality.

4. Data sharing and exports

• We do not sell personal data.
• Data leaves the app only when the user explicitly triggers export/share actions (for example PDF, DB, or JSON files).
• When users share exported files with third-party apps, those apps process data under their own privacy terms.

5. Permissions and device access

• Notifications (optional): used for starter feeding reminders when users enable scheduling.
• File picker/share access: used for user-initiated import/export and document sharing.
• No user account is required to use core app features.

6. Data retention and deletion

• Data remains on-device until the user deletes it, resets app data, imports replacement data, or uninstalls the app; support communication is retained only as needed to resolve requests and maintain compliance records.
• Where relevant to the data we process, users may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability; deletion instructions are provided on Data Deletion.

7. Security

• Abaker is designed around local data storage and user-controlled export.
• Users are responsible for device access controls and secure handling of exported files; users also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.

8. Children's privacy

Abaker is intended for bakery operations and professional workflow use and is not directed to children.

9. Policy updates

We may update this policy when app features or legal requirements change. The latest effective date is shown at the top of this page.
